If you own a iPhone or an iPod Touch, you may have taken advantage of the Starbucks Card Mobile app which allows users to reload their Starbucks payment cards, monitor their rewards cards and pay for their purchases at locations inside Target stores, as well as 16 stores in Seattle and the Silicon Valley region. However BlackBerry users were left out of the fold… until now.

These features have now been made available for BlackBerry Bold, Curve, Storm and Tour users. Besides the features listed above, the app will allow users to identify all Starbucks locations, including those inside Target stores, rather than having the selection limited to those that accept mobile payments… Now all they need to do is get Android on board.

You can obtain the Starbucks Card Mobile BlackBerry app by texting the word “GO” to 70845 or visiting the Starbucks mobile site.

Now that’s a clever idea for a coffee cup insulator. Unfortunately, this version is sold out, but hopefully more will pop up in sewtara’s Etsy shop. Either way, it’s probably not that difficult to make a version of this that is even better.

The Wormhole coffee shop isn’t actually a gateway to the past, but it does have it’s very own time machine.

As you will see in the video after the break, there’s a full-scale Back to the Future DeLorean right inside the Chicago-based shop. The Wormhole also pays homage to other ’80s classics like Ghostbusters and Star Wars. Oh, and I hear they have pretty good coffee too.

Yesterday it was jelly coffee and today it’s cheddar coffee. And yes, putting cheese in coffee is an actual thing people do. Some people…somewhere.

Japanese brewer Kirin doesn’t just make beer, they also make coffee under the “Fire” brand. Oddly enough, Fire coffee can even be had in a canned jelly form.

According to Chottomatte, the taste of the jelly isn’t the problem—it’s the texture.

“It is something between a real jelly drink (like a jelly fruit juice) and a liquid. You just feel many small jelly-like entities in your mouth.”

Hahaha…gross. I suppose that Jell-O won’t be coming out with a coffee-flavored version anytime soon.

When in Starbucks, you need to order your coffee like all of the other Starbucks regulars, no matter how dumb it may seem. And though some may question the already questionable lexicon that is employed when ordering a “tall” cup of coffee, almost nobody questions it…until now.

Recently, an English professor named Lynn Rosenthal, was forcibly removed from a Starbucks after she was involved in an argument with a barista over her refusal to use the popular Starbucks jargon while placing an order.

Rosenthal was quoted as saying, “Linguistically, it’s stupid, and I’m a stickler for correct English.”

If there is one goal That’s Nerdalicious exists to achieve, it’s finding a way to make more things taste like bacon. A perfect example of this comes from Flickr user Kentbrew who explains how you can make homegrown carrots taste like bacon.

In a nutshell, it involves harvesting extremely late and frying the living crap out of them in canola oil. Apparently, it tastes just like bacon. Looks like it too, as you can see from the image above. Check out Kentbrew’s Flickr page for the complete instructions.

Well, the saucer doesn’t actually fly, but it does hold one 16oz, highly caffeinated alien passenger.

I’m not sure if I want to drink Pale Ale that was filtered through Mario’s buttcrack, but kudos to HomeBrewTalk’s Grimster (and his son) for coming up with an awesome name and label for this homebrew.
